Stacy Small
A native of Rochester, NY and 1991 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Stacy Hope Small spent the first 15 years of her career as a travel journalist and was the launch editor of Elite Traveler magazine. Since 2005, Small has been the go-to luxury travel planner for high-level business and leisure travelers worldwide. She built her company Elite Travel International from a $200,000 business that first year as a home-based agent into a 30-person, $20 million global business by 2019.
Post-pandemic, she has opted to go back to her roots and focus 100% on booking and managing high-end travel for an invite-only, curated collection of clients under her rebranded Elite Travel Club. Now based in Santa Rosa, CA, ETC's portfolio includes a mix of company founders, entrepreneurs, rock stars, DJs, media, music, fashion, entertainment, finance and other C-level execs.
On a personal note, having lost both her dad and her mom to cancer in their 60s, Stacy has been active in causes close to heart including the Pacific Cancer Foundation on Maui and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). She sits on the San Francisco Bay Area Advisory Council for her and her mom’s alma mater Syracuse University. Stacy joined the Melanoma Research Alliance in honor of her 41-year old dear friend Kinsey Kampfer who lost her battle with melanoma in summer 2023 a year after diagnosis.
Small is the author of the book “Why Not Me?!? 12 Lessons a Year on an Island Taught Me About Living My Dreams, and How You Can Live Yours, Too.” She is currently at work on the sequel called: “A Little Bit Spiritual, A Little Bit CEO.”
Stacy is a serial dog-rescuer, and is slightly obsessed with her pups Mikey & Noah (a 16-year old maltipoo and a 2-year old ShihTsu). She loves traveling to favorite places like Bali, is a reiki master, a diehard Michael Franti fan and a proponent of living for today, as tomorrow is promised to no one.
